Rooms & Meals Revenue Sharing – A Big Win for Taxpayers

We have yet another win for taxpayers in this district and across the state of New Hampshire. In the last budget, we increased the municipalities’ amount in revenue received from the Rooms and Meals Tax. This should provide major tax relief for our communities.
I am happy to share our District’s numbers for FY 2022 below. The full press release can be seen here.
Amherst will receive $856,238.32 – an increase of $269,297.52
Merrimack will receive $1,997,671.31 – an increase of $670,008.09
Milford will receive $1,178,581.73 – an increase of $368,786.61
Wilton will receive $278,433.75- an increase of $88,876.01
