In the last budget, we increased the municipalities&#8217; amount in revenue received from the Rooms and Meals Tax. This should provide major tax relief for our communities.<\/p>\n<p>I am happy to share our District&#8217;s numbers for FY 2022 below. The full press release can be seen here.<\/p>\n<p>Amherst will receive $856,238.32 &#8211; an increase of $269,297.52<\/p>\n<p>Merrimack will receive $1,997,671.31 &#8211; an increase of $670,008.09<\/p>\n<p>Milford will receive $1,178,581.73 &#8211; an increase of $368,786.61<\/p>\n<p>Wilton will receive $278,433.75- an increase of $88,876.01<\/p>\n<p>When I ran for office, I vowed to cut taxes and protect taxpayers.
